Is there any way to manually edit the details of the iTunes library, such as number of times a song has been played? SOme of mine have this weird negative rating, like -1101093903 or something like that. Just ridiculous. It completely screws with my smart playlists, not to mention it's really irritating to look at. My immediate solution was to simply refresh my whole playlist, but I'd like to be able to restore my old play data, since most of it was good. Additionally, is there any way to override the locked metadata on video files? I have a music video file that's stuck in movies, and it's bugging me.

THanks. Any idea why it might have screwed up like that in the first place?

In your Music folder there is the iTunes Music Library.xml file that you can open in a plain text editor and change, that is where all that information is kept.
