We have a mac:
Model Name MacBook Pro
Model Identifier MacBook Pro 4.1
Processor Intel Core2 DVO
Speed 2.4 GHz
# of Processors 1
# of Cores 2
L2 Cache 3 MB
Memory 2 GB
Bus Speed 800 MGz
Boot Rom Version MBP41.00 Cl.B03
SMC Version (system) 1.27f3

We want to run Broderbund PC "The Printshop deluxe" version 20. It runs on xp now and we want to provide an environment for it on the above mac. Can anyone provide me with some hands on advice so that we start down the right road first. We are willing to pay money to purchase the software that allows it work seamlessly..If we have to, we will update hardware.
thanks

Take a look at the latest version of CrossOver. It should be able to run Printshop Deluxe and you won't have to mess with Boot Camp or Virtual software.

Interesting product. Considering you don't need a Windows license/Windows install.

I've been using CrossOver now for quite some time. (downloaded it when it was free during a promotion) It sets up a "bottle" like environment and installs a subset of Windows in that bottle. It then runs the Windows program from within the bottle.

I can run many non graphic intensive Windows games and also surprisingly Office 2010. :)

Good deal. I think that it's $59.99 now!

Great to know that it can run some "real" apps.:)
