Lost musical background in iPhoto conversion

I upgraded to iPhoto 9.5. After converting my old iPhoto files to the new format, musical background was lost in all my slideshows and I can't recover it. I also can't add music to new slideshows. "Play music during slideshow" is checked, the source is iTunes, I select a song, click "Choose," no music. I'm on iTunes 11.1.1 and it's working properly. It appears the link between iPhoto and iTunes is broken.

I am having the same problem playing music on iPhoto.

I have created a slideshow and want to add my music to it. Music from Themes and Samples works fine but I cannot get it to play from my iTunes library. Anyone got any suggestions?

Edit: Fixed problem. Reorganized iTunes library.
