Apps tag in Dock?

Is it possible to get the Apps Icon back into the Dock in Mavericks?

I have tried drag/drop and there is an electronic 'puff of smoke' and it dissapears :Blushing: It frightened the life out of me 1st time it happened !

Any ideas please folks?

Drag the Applications folder to the right side of the Dock.

Thank you. I thought I'd tried that, but I obviously didn't try far enough to the right :Oops::Oops:

One of these days I'm going to catch up with this technology?

It goes to the right of the divider line in the Dock. (which may be hard to see?)

I hadn't even realised it was there and that was right where I tried to put it, smack on that line :Oops::Oops:
