Internal and bluetooth speakers stops volume control

I have a 27" iMac. I have connected a Creative bluetooth speaker and want to play sound through both the internal speakers and the bluetooth one. I have managed this but, once done, I am unable to cotrol the volume through the keyboard. Also the volume control is greyed out.

Having read discussions I have tried Soundflowerbed but this doesn't solve the problem.

Any advice?
