Good afternoon guys & gals.
Switching our office over to Mac and we are doing it slow, right now we have two macbook pro's. The one I am on currently is going to be the accounting computer and I need to access quickbooks files from our remote external hard drive.
We have a verizon router that the desktops are connected to directly. Then we have a net gear R6300 wireless router hooked to that which the MacBooks run off of. The mac's will recognize the remote disk in the devices section of "finder" but I cannot access any information on it.
I am also not able to access any information about the network printer. On our smaller macbook pro we can plug directly into the network through a cat 5 cable and print from there but with this new bigger pro it has no cat5 cable plug. It seems I am having the same issues trying to access the external hard drive and the printer.
If you could please explain how I can access the information on the external hard drive I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you!
