Hi All - tonight I upgraded my iMac & MBPro (both 6 months old & running the latest version of Mtn Lion) to Mavericks - took a while but all seemed to go well - I'm sure that I'll discover issues in the next few days but just a question about Total Finder?

Under Mtn Lion, I had Total Finder (TF) installed on both computers - during the upgrade, the MBPro did not mention an issue w/ TF, however the iMac indicated an incompatibility which I OKed. After the upgrade, TF is not to be found on the iMac but is still present on the laptop - I thought that in Mavericks some of the features of TF were incorporated into this new OS X - so just asking what are the thoughts of others concerning this app? Thanks - Dave

I'd suggest you didn't have the latest Total Finder update before the upgrade. It works fine.

There are many features in TF that aren't in Mavericks. Maverisks really only adds Tabs that tread on TFs toes. But I guess it depends if you use the features or not as to whether it's worth keeping for you

Thanks - kept up w/ updates on my MBPro (which I use) and the program is still there and active; probably did not do so on the iMac (wife's machine), so I suspect that you are correct - will decide to add it back to the latter now under Mavericks - Dave :)
