MacBook Pro strange heating after Mavericks

Hello everyone! Could not find an answer to my question so decided to create this thread. I've got a macbook pro 15 inch mid 2010. After installing Mavericks noticed that my laptop began to heat a lot without any heavy apps running. Using smcFanControl app I can see that it is always running at 80 degrees Celsius with fans working at 4600 rpm when on default, and when I set up the fans to work at 6000 rpm almost nothing changes except the noise of working fans is increased. Please help.

First launch activity monitor from the utilities folder to see if any application is using a high processor percentage. What's the highest you can see?

The highest is FileStatsAgent using 100%

100% would appear to be far to high, and as the processor cycles increase they warm up and the fans kick in. Try killing that process and see if it cools and the fan speeds drop.

Ok, I checked my mac with mp3 scan and repair tool and repaired all files but nothing changed, than I just killed the process in activity monitor but then FileStatsAgent reappeared again. Please help, what should I do next?

Seeing a lot of issues like yours all involving Mavericks. Did you try everything in those threads above?

Yes, I've tried everything that is written in those threads, but still FileStatsAgent reappeared again latter on. I killed FileStatsAgent in activity monitor and it has not reappeared yet, so right now I can't say on what file it's stuck on.
When it will reappear again I'll post here on what file it's stuck on.

Remember Mods when Lion and Mountain Lion appeared a clean install appeared the best option for problems with MacBooks rather than the simple upgrade? Wonder if more of the same with Mavericks?

I don't think so Harry. Lots of folks, myself included did an upgrade install over the top of Mountain Lion and have no problems with heating or whatever. The only thing that happened to me is the print head on my Canon printer went south. Can't blame that on Mavericks though.

Sure you can.

If that's the only thing that changed, it has to be Mavericks fault.
