Saving Safari pages

iMac 27 inch 2017. Processor 3.4GHz Inte Memory 8GB 2400 MHz DDR4. Graphics Radeon Pro 570 4GB
When my Safari has several pages open and I install updates to other software which forces Safari to close, when I reopen Safari I lose all the pages. Can I recover them?

Hi,

Possibly look at you Safari history.

You can recover them from history and you can prevent that from happening by having a look at
Safari Preferences, General, Safari Open With ..... if you set that to " All windows from last session " ......
