I am about to purchase the newest MacBook Pro 15" and want to know if I can use my LaCie Electron Blue CRT monitor (about 12 years old) with it. It is a great monitor and not used much.

I'm sure you can, with a Thunderbolt to VGA adaptor. But isn't that like towing a caravan with a Ferrari? ;D

LOL, quite true. Also, you may not be able to achieve the proper scanning frequency known as the refresh rate. I strongly advise you to give that old CRT to Goodwill and buy a decent LCD monitor. Nowadays you can purchase a nice 24" LCD for less than $200.00.
