One last observation regarding DISH networks measurement of GB usage.
After complaining to their techs yesterday (which included one higher-tier tech), and their telling me there was "nothing they could do,".......
1) This morning, their measurements were accurate within 60MB.......but in MY favor. Go figure.
2) And, FYI their GB usage display is in seven decimal places meaning (supposedly) that they are measuring it per byte as it states in their "fair usage" statement.
Isn't that interesting.
Oh well, we're scheduled to have the fiber-optic cable re-connected. It just sucks that this experience with DISH is costing me $400 to buy out of the contract. I can't see tolerating their service for another 2 years.
