I just upgraded my snow leopard to Mavericks, and now when I scroll it warps because of a little horizontal scrolling. I dont understand why it does it, since there is noting to scroll to, it just shows gray backround. Is there any way to disable this?

Make sure your display is set to its native resolution. You didn't tell us which Mac you have?
I have MBP mid2009 2,26GHz. Issue was caused by rubber band scrolling. When i scrolled, it did some sideways scrolling and then warped. I was able to disable rubber band scrolling with this link: Disable Elastic (Rubber Band) Scrolling in Mac OS X
