I have a mid 2011 iMac 21.5 monitor. I want to run a dual screen setup running Windows with Bootcamp. Anyone know if this will work?

Yes it should work. Your 2011 iMac has one Thunderbolt output which is also backward compatible to MiniDisplay Port. With the proper adapter and cable you should be able to do it. Of course you'll also need an external monitor with an input for HDMI, DVI, etc.

Just to be sure, you won't be able to run both OSes natively at the same time; you'll need Parallels or Fusion to run them side by side. Boot Camp installs the Windows partition but doesn't make it available from within OS X.

Yep, knew that. But thanks.
