With Mavericks going GM about 2 weeks ago, the launch date is likely Tuesday or Wednesday..:)

A rMBP with upgradable components would be awesome and the only way I can see that happening is if they were to discontinue the non-Retina MBP's which is unlikely..

I doubt it. They just released a second GM.

Well that's to bad! Kinda runs counter to the term Gold Master to have a second one come out..:)
