Ok, I want to upgrade my ibook dual USB version (500mhz) with a new HDD. I have a chance to get a good deal from a freind of mine, here is a link to the HDD I can get, is this drive compatable with the ibook dual USB?

I'll be running OS X Tiger.

as long as it is standard size 2.5 inch, it should work. Keep in mind that upgrading can be kind of tough. Take your time!

here is a good site with a guide to help you with your upgrade.

I bought mine a couple years ago from 4allmemory.com. I emailed them to confirm that the HD I had chosen would work. So if it didn't I had their email saying it would. Well, it worked just fine.
