It looks like it's part of the Twisted Framework for Python. Have you installed that recently?

Not that I know of... I did install Hazel on a macbook pro and copied some files from the macbook. Hazel monitors files and copies to rules you set up but it is not on this machine. Anything to do with that?

It may have been installed as part of another application (it's for developers). What did you install before it appeared?

It's hare to figure out when it appeared. I did update to Mt. Lion but I also did that on my Macbook Pro. Anything I install on my Mac Pro iI install on the Macbook and it is not there. I assume it is not harmfull or slowing anything down but I deleted it anyway. I was just curious why a document not an app would be installed in the login items. Thanks for your help!

That's a good question. It's hard to know why it's there.

While I don't think removing it will be a problem, keep any eye out for anything that acts up and uses networking (Twisted is for networking stuff in Python) and, on the other hand, watch to see if it gets re-added to the list of login items.
