As promised here are a few benchmarks of the new late 2013 27" iMac:

3.5GHz i7-4771
GTX780M 4GB

Sweet performance numbers...I want the 12C machine..:) Though it's interesting to note that the 6C machine comes up JUST short of the 12C machine..granted that the 12C machine is running a dated CPU and the 6C is the newer generation processor..just imagine what a 12C of the newer chip would get for numbers..

Could you possibly also run the advanced test for the single CPU score? It is hidden in the Filemenu. And also interesting to see if Mavericks makes a difference...
