16 error 2048

Hello, i have a G3 ibook 500MHz transluscent model and it has been good to me for years and all the sudden it popped up with the death message(the one in multiple languages)...anyways anytime i restart the computer thats the only thing that appears after i log in. i ran the hardware test disk that the computer came with and even before it gets to the test page it says "memory 16 error 2048"... well i get to the test page and before i run the test under the column where it says test not run yet under memory it already says problem. Well i run quick test and it gets through airport, logic board and gets to mass storage and freezes.....

HELP!!!!!

maybe its a memory issue you are having?
have you tried to google the error you are getting?

yeah and the closest thing i can get as a response is in german
