erratic optical mouse

My optical mouse is operating erratically. I've sir-blown the optical parts, no luck.

If cleaning doesn't work, the only cure may be to replace the mouse with a new one. Optical mice are inexpensive and just about any that connects via USB or wireless BT should work OK.

Just a simple question - have you checked the batteries?

New iMac user (about 6 months now) - the 'Magic Mouse' is NOT magic! :Angry-Tongue:

Batteries die quickly (Preferences w/ the Mouse option will give you battery life) - now on rechargeable batteries (no problem - had plenty around) - plus, wife does not like it, so we'll be looking for a substitution - Dave :)
