Just got a 4S, and love it. Is there any way to have iMessage/Texting automatically add your name, not just your phone number? Been thru Preferences and such, but don't see a way to do this.
Thanks for any leads!

Put yourself in your contacts list. iMessage gets names from the contact list.

Thanks Jake. I'm in the contact list, and have added my email, as well as my iPhone number, and it still just says it's from my phone number. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your time!

Ah, I misread your post. The recipient has to have your name in their contacts list. I don't think iMessage or SMS sends the sender name. Sorry.

Thank you Jake - I'll now stop going crazy trying to fix this! Enjoy your day!:)
