Trouble with iTunes 11.1.1

Hi all,
What have Apple done this time???
Just installed the latest iTunes, and now it doesn't recognise my iTunes account password. It seems to be forcing me to change the password. Fair enough, so I request to change the password. They say the have sent an email, but nothing arrives.
Anyone else having issues?

Not had that problem, but having downloaded iTunes I decided to do some MPEG-AAC converting. When I next look I find the iMac has crashed (because of the iTunes?).

On restarting the SMC (no other way to get it up and running again) my iTunes Library is now 'damaged'. All i have in my library is (I think) those tracks that had been converted to AAC before it failed ... and nothing else.

Anyone?

Try Keychain First Aid > type keychain in Spotlight > applications > keychain access > first aid you can also use this to verify ID and password.

Sounds as though version 11.1 has thrown up a few glitches.

I've been trying to access iTunes Store without success since the upgrade. I keep getting an error message saying that the store is "temporarily unavailable. Try again later" after entering my username & password.




Anyone know how I can get around this?
