Change language on word 2008

I inherited my dads old mac book pro with word 2008 unfortunately it is in german and would like it in danish or english, but can only change it in the documents. Would like the program to be in another language. can anybody help???

Doesn't work that way. "Tools, language" only marks selected text to a particular language and sets up the spell check. It doesn't change the menus and the basic language of the version. If your copy of Word is in German, you can write in English or Danish but the language of the copy of Word you have will still be in German.

Buy a copy of Office 2011 in English instead. (US, UK, Canada, Australian)
