Is someone playing with the layout again or did I miss something? It looks different.

What looks different? Nothing seems to have changed on my end, everything is still as it was. Which skin are you using?

If you are referring to the stuff on the top of the page that says "Start a Discussion" and "Mac-Forums Brief", I noticed them too. There has to be a way to turn them off at some point - they take up half the browser window on my 13" MacBook Air every time I go to a new page, even inside a thread. Not a fan so far but could live with it if they can be disabled. ;)

XJ hit the nail on the head. I just logged in and there those two were! They take up most of the page on my 20" Flatscreen on my Gaming PC!

Nope, not here. I believe, however, I did see that skin last night when I signed on but today it's gone.

I just went back to the home screen Craig, and everything is as it was before. Nothing out of place as far as I can see. Blame it on Slydude, it's his fault! ;P

Which skin are you guys using? I'm on "MF test 4-18-13". Like I said, everything is as it was before. I also should mention I'm using Chrome at 125% as that may have something to do with it. I'm going to switch over to FF and see what it looks like there....

I'm back using FF. When I first opened the forum sign on page, it looked exactly like Craig's screen shot. However, as soon as I logged in, everything went back to normal. I also have FF set to display at 125%. Don't know what's going on.....

Mac Forums 3.8.6.

I have not changed the skin in ages.

You're using the older skin Dennis. I suspect Craig may also be doing the same. The newer test skin does have a slightly different layout. At first I didn't like it but as I got used to it, it's actually makes it easier to navigate around. Give the new test skin a try.

Was using the default, switched to 3.8.6 - same. Now using test and it's gone.
Edit: did lose the activity box though, that was useful.

That'll sure put a stop to all the 'Contact Us' posts asking how to ask a question.
Takes up the whole screen on my MBA 13".

For our regulars wondering how to get rid of it, switch over to one of the following:
Mac-Forums - top of the list - this is an old style skin
Any of the ad-less skins if you have that option
4-18-13 test
