Ipod touch 4th gen internal spring

Lost the internal spring during a screen replacement. Can anyone tell me what the length and diameter of the spring are? So I can look for a replacement, as no one seems to sell one.

The only thing I can suggest is to look on the ifixit web site at the take apart instructions for your iPod and see if you can identify the spring in order to find a replacement.

I was hoping to find someone in the middle of a screen replacement could just measure their spring...
