Burning dvd from iphoto

After I organize the pictures in an album, I export to a new folder on the desktop. I right click on the folder and select burn to dvd. The dvd burns fine, but the pictures have been shuffled into some random order understood only by my computer. Does anyone know of a way to burn the album as originally set up?
