Updated to iOS7 last night, and had the usual problem of no notifications or anything my Apple ID was connected to, iMessage, Facetime, iTunes.

I tried the backup to iTunes and Erase All Settings And Data and Restore trick, it worked.
However, I no have ZERO songs in my iTunes Library and just a handful on my iPhone. I don't sync my music because I have a lot more songs on my computer than I want on my phone.

What do I do here? This is crazy.

Thanks.

I also have the most up-to-date iTunes and a 4s.

You create a playlists and sync only that playlists with the songs you want and thats exactly what I did and named it iPhone Music.

On your computer in iTunes make a playlist and select the missing songs you wanted in the menu of devices in iTunes select that playlist then hit sync.
If you are saying you had music on your phone you do not have on your computer you should have done a backup before you upgraded if they were purchased from iTunes then they will show up in iTunes on your computer under purchased.
