I installed ios 7 and want to use the compass app, but its not anywhere on my home screen, i have to do a search for it to open it. How do i put it on my home screen?
Easy enough. Try the following and it should get things the way you want it.
1. Locate the Compass app. It's usually in the Utilities folder on your phone.
2. Open the Utilities folder.
3. Select the Compass app but don't take your finger off of the icon. When the icons start to "wobble" you can drag Compass out of the utilities folder and onto your home screen.
