Hello,
I have a MacBook pro that I purchased earlier this year that my toddler accidentally drowned last week. Took it to a shop and they said the logic board is fried, which was no surprise. They said the hard drive is okay and I can get an external drive to access all my files. I don't really know anything about external drives so I am unsure what type I need to purchase. I also do not have another computer at the moment, but was wondering if it would be possible to transfer my photos from the external hard drive to a flash drive just in case the hard drive fails at some point.
Can someone please explain to me how all this stuff works and what I need to get?
Thanks in advance.
Niki
