Using my 1TB Desktop HDD Externally on my MBP

So i recently just parted out a beast of a Water-Cooled Overclocked Desktop and have a few parts left over.

I have installed my SSD inside the MBP, however i still have a 1TB Desktop HDD that i would like to have acess to for saving larger files from my MBP. Can i do this with an external HDD Dock?

Your Mac's Specs
2017 15" MBP, 16gig ram, 1TB SSD, OS 10.15
You just need to install that drive into an external HD enclosure. Then format the drive to use with a Mac (using Disk Utility). Format is "Mac OS Extended Journaled").
