I'm trying to get mail to work with my yahoo mail account and college mail account. I have no idea how to do this either. Help!

You have to sign up with Yahoo Plus do get it to work with Mail. It won't otherwise. What type of account is at your college?

Does Yahoo plus cost money?

My school is using MS Office OutLook, if that helps.

$20/yr... click 'upgrades' while logged into your account for details. It gives you POP access to check through Mail. If you can check your mail through Outlook at school, you can do it through Mail. Just get all your info (username, mail server, outgoing server, etc.) to set it up.

well, it still doesn't work.

studentmail.jjc.edu is my domain, or server. I don't know. I have my login and password too. What I don't know is whether it is POP, or whatever. Kind of confusing!

Any ideas?

Most accounts are POP/SMTP... so your incoming mail server(POP3) might be something like "mail.jjc.edu", outgoing mail server(SMTP) possibly "smtp-server.city.rr.com", or something similar. They'd be under Tools/E-mail Accounts/Internet E-mail Settings in Outlook. Also check with whomever is administrating accounts - one of your profs should know.
