Will the wifi antenna still work?

I think I'm in over my head here.
Replacing the shattered glass on an iPad 2 for a friend. The wifi antenna ripped from the two screws holding it in place at the bottom. Anyone ever done this and still have it work okay?
I've had to replace the wifi antenna on a few iPods, but never an iPad and man, that looks like more than I can handle.

Ugh, the more videos I watch and tutorials I read the more I think I'm gonna have to replace it.
