I don't know what it's called, but there are some websites in my history that keep coming up in the address window when I type similar names. How do I get rid of them? I don't want to clear out my history entirely.

Rather than history - that comes from autofill.

You can access it in Safari - Preferences - Autofill
Click the Edit button next to 'Other Forms'
There you'll see a list of websites that have been saved and can remove them individually or all of them.

The next time it shows up in the address bar drop down:

highlight it (or arrow down to it) - then press Shift + Delete
