Hello Ladies and Gents,

My iBook is almost two months old and just recently (a few days) I purchased an iBook charger (not apple) from amazon.com. It seems that during that time my battery went from an estimated 5 or so hours to three. Did that use of that charger have adverse affects on my battery? I have no other guess as to why my battery life has been diminished.

How many watts does the charger put out? I have heard that the less it puts out, the slower the ibook will charge. The apple power adaptor puts out 45 watts. I would get an apple adaptor, that way, it will be garenteed that it works.
