Transferring PPT from PC to PPT for Mac

I have MacBook Pro (OSX 10.8.4) with MS Office 2008 for Mac installed. I've copied all my PPT files from my PC (which is still in use by someone else) into a folder on my Mac. Now how do I actually get them into the PPT 2008 on my Mac?

Your Mac's Specs
2017 15" MBP, 16gig ram, 1TB SSD, OS 10.15
Just double click on the ppt file just like you would in Windows. Alternatively...open Powerpoint and open the desired file from within Powerpoint.

That works! Problem solved!

Thank you Nick. Of course I should have know Apple would have made it so simple as that!
I was trying to over complicate things!
