Brother makes a small footprint BW laser printer for less than $200. It's Mac compatible and can be found at stores such as Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, and Amazon on line.

I might get one of them, I am sick and tired of inkjet printers, especially when they fail to recognise 6 month old cartridges you have forked out a hefty sum for, as well as the fact that any make i Buy refuse to work whenever I actually need to print anything!

I would read reviews of what ever model you are considering but Brother and HP usually work without problems.
Toner costs would be another thing to look at but if you do a lot of printing its the way to go.
