I am a newbie to the forum and would like to go fishing . . .
I have an original 400k floppy for my old MacPlus that is the first version of Microsoft File. This was a really nice database that I used (and still want to) for many databases. I kept all the database files and transferred them to VMAC and Basilisk II along with the application. However, I cannot get it to run? There were hidden protection files, which I also copied, but still no dice.
Does anyone out there remember this app, or know someone that might have some knowledge of this software? I really would like to get this to work, if only to get at the old data.
