Pages and Word

I have both Pages and MS Word on my iMac. Some docs want to open in Pages and some open in Word. How can I change the default so all .doc and .docx open in one or the other?

select a file and right click and select get info

One of the options is open with...

Select your preferred app and hit the button that says Change all
