Unknown audio usb device

Hello,

I have been desperately trying to remove an unknown audio device from my Mac/System Preference. And I need your help. Please! if you know how I can get rid of this Unknown audio device, help me. Thank you in advance.

I have a 27" iMac 2010 | OS Version 10.8.4. I attach a photo of my System preference to show what exactly happened here:

Make sure you have no USB devices attached and then try a SMC reset - link.

Try a PRAM reset as that should clear the memory of it - if in fact you did have a USB device connected before.

Thank you for your respond. I did as you said, Unfortunately nothing happened, and the unknown device is still there.
