Cannot access certain sites on any device https

hello,

earlier, i was on some shady looking websites with pop ups, and i think i may have downloaded malware. i cannot download from any site unless its https://

i also cant access .pdf files online without https://

when i try to access these pages, i get an error on chrome that says no data received, lost connection to server

this isnt only for my macbook pro but for any device connected to my network

ive changed my firewall settings to no avail.
