iphone4s sync problem to macbook pro

Does anyone know why I would suddenly get the message "The iphone cannot be synched. You do not have the privilege to make changes". Been synching on this phone for a year now and all of a sudden I cant.

Any suggestions ?

Are you syncing the phone to the same Mac? If you are, have you tried to reset the phone? (Make sure you backup everything first.)

Everything is the same. I updated the software on the phone. Also I dont think you moved this to the right place its not a hardware problem. Both devices work fine. The software isnt letting me sync the itunes. This is a problem discussed on the web I just havent found the answer.

Have you tried updating permissions on your hard drive? (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility)
