How to backup contacts?

I currently have a HTC but it will be sold tomorrow. And I nee to know how to transfer my contacts and pictures to my iPhone 5.. Thanks

Sync your contacts to Google on your HTC, and for the picture use what syncing method you've been using to grab them all. Then, on the iPhone set it to sync with your google contacts list and the folder you downloaded the pictures to for photo sync.
