The admin account on our computer was changed and the person who changed it would not share the new password. I know crazy situation. Anyway, my son was trying to be helpful and set up a new admin account by holding down the command s keys and typing in a series of lines.

The old admin account is not visible. The account users have not been changed.

How can I restore the old admin account. I only want the pictures from this account.

Thank you,
Sheri

Tell your son to log on to the machine as "Root". From the master root account all other accounts can be seen and the data can be copied. Also, the old admin account that you do not know the password for can be removed at the same time.

How to log on as root user - Apple

It might be a good idea to make a backup before doing the above.
