ipod video voice recorder?

I just bought an ipod video and was having trouble finding a compatible voice recorder. all i could find was the microphone adapter but that seems more complicated and I would rather just have a voice recorder that snaps on like the ones for the older generation ipods.
does anyone know of any compatible ones?
