Stop Entourage downloading selected emails

Entourage keeps trying to download emails which I do not want to receive (they have very large attachments I do not want). How do I select emails it is attempting download and stop them being downloaded?

What kind of account? ISP or Gmail/Yahoo?
If Gmail/Yahoo, log on with your web browser and mark them as read or delete them.
If it's ISP, I don't think you can unless it's like Roadrunner. Then you can use the web mail feature like above.

thanks craig... i finally worked out it was a faulty email attachment that was blocking the other downloads. Once that email was deleted by the internet provider there rest all came through without any problem.
