Please,How can I turn on my camera on a Mac OS X version 10.6.8. I have tried turning on Photo Booth or iMovie to turn my camera on so that I can make video calls on Skype and chat with friends and family outside.
Really need a help.!

It should turn on automatically in skype once you are connected to your call.

I fail to see what you are trying to achieve by trying to turn the camera on in Photo Booth or iMovie then attempting to use Skype.

Hi there, thanks a lot for the reply and support. The thing t
Is that, my cam won't work when I was on Skype talking to a friend. I then tried to see if I could do anything different with my cam or camera and it keeps telling me that my camera is disconnected.
So now, I can't take pictures or videos with my cam. So it it keeps telling me its discounted and turned off, how do I turn it bak on?

Thanks!!

You didn't tell us which Mac you have.... however, try resetting the SMC to see if that gets the camera working again. Go to this Apple KB article to learn how to reset it.

LOL, brilliant minds think alike! Did you get any rain out your way this afternoon? Few showers here - the lawn needed it.

Saw a couple of light showers between downtown D and Mesquite - enough at the house to evaporate as it hit the pavement but still have some clouds here threatening

Am going to like the 15 degree drop in temps the next couple of days
