I'm sure I can't be the only one who has been enjoying using Notify to monitor multiple GMail accounts. It's worked great for a long time. Then all of a sudden the other day I go to delete an email, and I get this message:

"Your Notify Pro trial has expired. To continue using Notify Pro, you'll need to purchase it. Interested in learning more?"

Ok...been using this program for at least a year and had no idea it was a trial. No big deal; it's worth paying money for. The problem is, if you click the link to purchase it, it takes you to the site:

http://kylevanessen.com

...which is just a blank page.

Does anyone know how the heck to purchase a license for this app? If not, what other programs are you guys using to monitor multiple GMail accounts from your desktop? I do not want to use Mail, as I just want to be notified of new emails, not download them to my computer.

Yeah it looks like this has become abandon ware. The developer took down his web page and doesn't appear to be able to be contacted. I don't know how you'll be able to get rid of the nag, but what's strange is that the program didn't nag you sooner. Most programs that offer a trial do so for a short period of time, not a year.

Apparently the author of Notify released the license free for use when he closed up shop. You just have to download a file. Read the discussion on MacUpdate's page:
https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/32217/notify-pro

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. For others who may be in my predicament, the discussion in the link above said to google "license.notify.zip". Here's where I downloaded it from and it worked perfectly:

Thanks again!

The discussion on MacUpdate says to Google for "License.notify.zip". I found it on my first hit. Or what I assume to be it.

You should never post your email address publicly like that. It'll get grabbed by the spam bots in a heartbeat. The file is in a zip file and available from the first hit I got.
