The picture of myself in facetime is very cloudy when I look at myself. The receiver of my facetime sees the cloudiness as well. When I take a picture with my camera the photo is clear so I don't think it is my lens. Any suggestions on what the problem is?

Turn on your camera with the Photo Booth app. How does your picture look?

Do you have effects turned on?

It sounds like you have an issue with the camera. Either something is on the lens, under the lens, or the camera is defective. How old is the iPod/iPhone?

Have you tried reinstalling the apps and have you tried restoring the device? Item cleaning the lens even though you said it is clean. If it is still in warranty have the device replaced.
