Macbook Pro 15" 2ghz/2GB/250gb/SD - White Macbook 2.16ghz/2.5GB/250GB/SD
Ok, well I have a ibook G3, with 10.1 installed in it now. I plan to upgrade here soon, I have my Mac Mini 10.3 Install DVD that came with the Mac Mini... Will this DVD install on the ibook? Or am I forced to go buy a Retail version of 10.3 or 10.4?

Legally you need to buy a retail version. Install disks for specific models are not licensed for another computer (and usually don't work with them anyway). Besides by getting the retail version you'll be sure to get the right drivers etc for the model you have.

Well it will be for a temporary resolution only, I plan to buy Tiger, but I want to make sure Panther is going to work on the ibook before I drop some change on the OS.
