I am getting a new iMac 27'' for music production and the new models have dropped the Firewire altogether but on my current set up i am using a Saffire Pro 14 audio interface that uses FW400, So how will i connect this to the iMac?

Is there a convertor i can use that won't lose quality of signal?

(Currently using a FW400 - FW800 on my MBP)

thanks

I would suggest heading for a Saffire forum.

Have not read the Ireland comments - but would guess they're the same as the US comments - primarily issues with connecting bus powered external hard drives.
