Video Driver for windows???

I have a iMac4, 1 which I've been using for years with windows with no problem. Recently I've re-installed windows 7 (and of course bootcamp). The problem is my external display no longer works. (it worked fine before I re-installed windows). Worse yet I can't seem to find the correct driver for it. I'm really stuck here. Any ideas??

OK....... Thanks for that bit of info. But about the driver, any ideas about where I could find it????????

That monitor is plug and play for Windows and does not require a driver. The driver you may need is for your video card. What does Windows 7 show in the hardware tree for the video card? It should show the ATI Radeon X1600.

Good point. Windows did not show X1600 for the video driver. But snow leopard did. So rather than searching for mac hardware drivers I started looking for randon drivers and after more searching I found
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc.exe
which has the drivers for the X1650, which did the trick. Thanks!

Glad to hear you got it working. Just a point here.... Windows almost never requires a driver for a monitor. As many years as I have used Windows I don't believe I ever had to dig up a driver for a monitor. You can pull an old CRT monitor off the storage shelf and Windows will "see" it as plug and play. Video drivers are a horse of a different color though.
